Next up we are on the road again to the Forthbank Stadium where we face Stirling Albion in this William Hill League 2 match.
Stirling who are now under Manager Alan Maybury have been promoted and then relegated over the past two seasons and currently sit 5th In the League one place above The Rose.
Last time out Stirling went down 2-1 to League leaders Peterhead at the Balmoor Stadium with Peterhead scoring the winning goal in the closing stages of the match after Stirling Albion had had a man sent off just after equalising at the start of the second half.
The Rose travelled North to Elgin where we went down 2-1.
After a competitive first half with very few chances The Rose took the lead in the 70th minute when Kalum Higginbotham converted a Ben Scarborough pass on the edge of the box and held on to the lead until the 88th minute when Elgin scored from close range. Elgin were then awarded a free kick on the edge of the penalty box in the fifth minute of added time which ended up in the back of the net after a couple of deflections on the way in to leave The Rose coming away with nothing in a match they had under control until the final moments.
Matches between these sides have generally been very tight with no more than one goal separating the sides in the League meetings in season 22/23 and this match should be very similar in again in what is becoming a very competitive League.
