This Saturday we head North to face Elgin City at Borough Briggs.
The Rose having picked up 7 points from 9 in the last three League matches face an Elgin side who are so far unbeaten in the League this season so both sides will be confident going into this contest.
Bonnyrigg will be looking to get their first win on the road this season and to continue the climb up the League 2 table and maintain the positivity and momentum from the results and performances of the last three games.
Elgin City who went out of the Challenge Cup last weekend at League 1 Kelty Hearts have made a strong start to the League season with two wins and two draws in their four League games under Manager Allan Hale who joined from Huntly FC last December.
Last time out The Rose defeated Stranraer 2-0 at NDP with first half goals from Captain Kerr Young from the edge of the box and a Callum Connolly header in what was a very dominant and strong performance and a very well deserved 3 points.
Elgin City shared the points at Forfar with both goals coming in the first 15 minutes of the second half with Elgin taking the lead with a close-range header and Forfar equalising 10 minutes later with a header from a free kick.
In the last match between the sides at Borough Briggs Bonnyrigg started the game very well in a game that was played in very blustery conditions and had chances to take the lead in a very competitive first half.
Elgin started the second half the better side and took the lead with a goal on the hour mark with a volley from the left-hand side of the box after an excellent Paddy Martin save and despite The Rose having a Keiran McGachie close range effort being ruled out for hand ball The Rose came away without the points.
The Rose will be looking to change the stats from last season where both sides won their home games against each other.
