We start the 24/25 William Hill League campaign as we welcome Peterhead FC to NDP.
Both sides come into this opening game of the season after going out of The Premier Sports Cup at the group stage and will be looking to get the League campaign off to a positive start.
The Rose with 7 new recruits over the close season have started the last 2 seasons on the front foot but face a Peterhead side who reached the promotion play offs last season and will provide a tough test in this season opener.
Games between these sides were very close last season with 3 draws and 1 win for Peterhead in the first clash at Balmoor last September.
In the last meeting between the sides in April it finished in a highly contested 2-2 draw.
The Rose took the lead through a Bradley Barrett goal midway through the first half but were pegged back 10 minutes into the second half but were able to take a late lead through Lee Currie but were unable to hang on for the win when Peterhead scored the equaliser 3 minutes into injury time.
Head-to-Head (Last Season)
06/04/24 = Bonnyrigg Rose 2-2 Peterhead
20/02/24 = Peterhead 0-0 Bonnyrigg Rose
09/12/23 = Bonnyrigg Rose 1-1 Peterhead
16/09/23 = Peterhead 2-1 Bonnyrigg Rose
*Next up in the League we have consecutive away games in Edinburgh against The Spartans (10/08) and Edinburgh City (17/08).
