After four consecutive draws and a frustrating postponement last weekend, Rose are searching for a much-desired win on Friday night.

The Rose will don their all-yellow away kits when Stranraer are welcomed to New Dundas Park, as we partake in Shelter Scotland’s #NoHomeKit campaign. We are proud to support the cause, and you can find out more here.

Our last meeting with The Blues ended in incredibly dramatic fashion. Veteran forward Craig Malcom headed home an opener, before Kevin Smith slid in at the back post to meet a driven cross from Josh Grigor to equalise.

Josh Walker stabbed home from close range to put the host’s back in front, but a red card for Craig Ross following a dangerous tackle on Scott Gray set up a nervy end to the clash for the home side.

Just when all hope seemed lost for the Rose, Kerr Young was fouled in the box, allowing Lee Currie to step up and coolly slam home the leveller in the 98th minute from the spot.

Stranraer have bounced back since that late blow, rising up to 4th in the cinch League Two table – currently sitting six points above the Rosey Posey.

With 13 points from the last 18 available, Jamie Hamill’s men have been enjoying fine form. However, they must shake off any rustiness from the past few weeks after a free Scottish Cup weekend and a postponement has halted any match action for the Dumfries and Galloway outfit since 3rd December.

That last fixture was a resounding 3-1 victory over Stirling Albion almost three weeks ago, with goals from Dylan Forrest, Sean McIntosh and Grant Gallagher overturning Robert Thomson’s opener for The Binos.

Reduced tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (U16s, O65s and carers/disabled), while under 12s go free with a paying adult. Season tickets are valid.

There is also a live stream available for those unable to make the trip to NDP, with an online ticket costing £9.99. To find out more, click here.

Kick-off is 7.45pm on Friday at New Dundas Park. Important match information (ignore the general ticket pricing this time, of course) for all supporters is available from this link.
