The final Roses lottery in it's current form will take place at New Dundas Park as normal tomorrow. We will suspend the jackpot if not won at £6400. The main reasons for this are concerns for the safety of our lottery sellers and customers at Bonnyrigg Toll on Thursdays and most of the outlets where tickets can be bought have now closed.
We have a number of customers who pay by standing order but it wouldn't be fair on those that have bought physical tickets since the first week of Roses lottery if they weren't given the opportunity to win it.
This would mean that our only source of income at present due to the suspension of all football activity would be shut down. We have therefore decided to create a new jackpot starting at £500, which will start from Sunday March 28th and will increase by £50 per week if the jackpot isn't won. Match 3 winners will still receive £15 each if the jackpot is not won. This new jackpot will remain in place until the Scottish Government reverses some of the decisions made over the course of the past couple of weeks and we will reinstate the current one.
Please note that tickets for the jackpot starting from Monday can only be made through standing order/direct debit. You can set up a standing order to roll off every four weeks in units of £4 for each line that you wish to play (e.g. one line per draw per week is £4 for four weeks, two lines is £8 etc).
Our bank a/c details to set up a standing order are as follows:
Sort code: 80-06-29
Account: 06007443
Reference: Lottery
Please use the Contact form to let us know of the numbers you have picked. Each line requires you to pick four numbers as normal between 1 - 32. Please also use this form if you wish to cancel current standing orders for our lottery.
Hopefully the above makes sense in light of the current circumstances, where our primary concern is to our sellers and to our supporters who no longer need to take unnecessary risks to keep our lottery going.
