We can announce that Johnny Brown has signed for East of Scotland Premier side Dundonald Bluebell on a short term loan deal until the middle of January.

He has been on the sidelines since October last year after he came off second best in a challenge in our second league game of last season versus Caledonian Braves. After several attempts to get back into some sort of training Johnny decided to announce his retirement in April of this year.

However, Johnny still hasn't stop working on a potential return to football which is a testament to his drive and determination, and received some positive news in his latest consultation. He has since returned to training with us and after talks with the manager both parties feel that game time is the next logical step on his road to recovery.

To that end we are pleased that we have managed to arrange a short-term loan deal with the Bell and the hope is that it is a win-win for them, us and most importantly JB. We wish him all the best over the next few weeks and look forward to him pulling back on the red and white hoops at New Dundas Park in the new year.
