The club is delighted to announce the signing of winger Robbie McGale on a permanent basis from cinch League One side Peterhead.
The 22-year-old, who can also play at right back or in midfield, brings youth & versatility to the squad as the Rose look to push themselves off the foot of the table.
McGale came through the ranks at Queen of the South, before embarking on his university career in Stirling, where he became a fixture in their men’s first team.
This means the youngster will be no stranger to Bonnyrigg, having battled Robbie Horn’s men on many occasions in the Lowland League.
The tricky winger’s impressive showings caught the eye of Montrose manager Stewart Petrie, who swooped in to take McGale on loan in cinch League One.
After struggling for minutes in Angus, the player returned to Stirling to complete his studies, before venturing north to join Peterhead back in the third tier.
McGale’s arrival in Midlothian will be welcomed by some familar faces as he links up with fellow former-Student stars Kieran Hall & Conor Doan.
Welcome to the Rose, Robbie!
