Hearts legends ready to pitch in and help holiday nightmare couple
Hearts Legends are hoping for a record attendance for one of their fixtures this Sunday when they play a benefit match to support John and Nicola Tams at New Dundas Park, Bonnyrigg.
Entry is via cash-only turnstiles at New Dundas Park. Admission costs £5 for adults and £1 for under-16s. Children under five will be admitted free.
Football in Bonnyrigg received a major boost in September with the news of the creation of a new community club - Bonnyrigg Rose Football Club. The new club which will involve the amalgamation of Bonnyrigg Rose Boys Club (which has already changed its name to Bonnyrigg Rose Football Club), Bonnyrigg Rose 'A' U21s and Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic Junior Football Club agreed a new constitution and rules on Monday 14 September. The new club will provide opportunities to participate in football for boys and girls from soccer fours and soccer sevens through to Super League football for semi professional players. The new community club would like to recognise the support provided by the Scottish Football Association and Midlothian Council in taking this project forward.
