Despite only receiving planning permission just over two weeks ago our floodlights installation project has been successful, with the lights fully operational yesterday.

Considering work only started last Tuesday in earnest its been an unbelievable effort from all involved to have had the lights in place for Friday and to have them fully working on Monday is testament to the hard work from all involved in the project.

We would like to place our thanks to sponsor Grant Fitzsimmons & Son who was our main contractor on the project and Alan Blair who completed all of the electrical works. Grant has agreed to cover a significant element of the installation costs as part of his sponsorship of the club for next season. The work put in by our own committee over the past couple of weeks is also not to be underestimated, with some of them at New Dundas Park from dawn till dusk helping in any way that they could and without them there is no doubt that the project would still be ongoing, so thanks to every one of them also. It is down to the determination and drive of all of the above that we now have a set of floodlights in place.

We would like to thank everyone who turned up for our floodlight fundraisers (Race night & Psychic night) and our own supporters and others who donated to our fundraising pages. We have only been able to do this with your help so thank you.
